Our Lady Queen of Peace
Medjugorje, March 25, 2001

"Dear children!
Also today I call you to open yourselves to prayer.  Little children, you live in a time in which God gives great graces but you do not know how to make good use of them.  You are concerned about everything else, but the least for your soul and spiritual life.  Awaken from the tired sleep of your soul and say yes to God with all your strength.  Decide for conversion and holiness.  I am with you, little children, and I call you to perfection of your soul and of everything you do.  Thank you for having responded to my call."

These photos were taken of the Statue in St. James Church, Medjugorje May 2001 by Joe who was approximately 12' to 14' away.  The photo on the left was picture no. 9 on the roll, taken before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  The photo on the right was taken after the Mass, and it was picture no. 12 on the same roll.  A few weeks after his pilgrimage we had his five rolls of film developed, and immediately noted the other unusual photos depicted in this Gallery, but we missed seeing the differences in these shots. 

In fact, it was only after the breaking news from Medjugorje where a nun and pilgrims saw the Virgin Mary actually emerge from the statue during the Jubilee Mass (June 25, 2001) that we went back through the photos to take a closer look at the pictures of the statue.  Much to our amazement we noted the shift in the position of her head which is raised, her eyes which are open and gazing forward, and especially her hands which are raised in prayer and touching her chin!  Of course we know that a number of factors, such as angle and proximity can fool the eye, but as you will see the differences are astonishing.  For best photo comparison set Display Resolution 800x600.

Message of May 25, 2001

"Dear children!
At this time of grace, I call you to prayer.  Little children, you work much but without God's blessing.  Bless and seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you at this time so that you may comprehend and live in the grace of this time.  Convert, little children, and kneel in the silence of your hearts.  Put God in the center of your being so that, in that way, you can witness in joy the beauty that God continually gives in your life.  Thank you for having responded to my call."

The picture of the left is the same photo depicted above (photo no. 9), enlarged, cropped and posted along side of photo 13 that was taken immediately after photo 12 above.  Photo 13 on the right has not been modified in any way, and not only is the position change obvious, she looks teary eyed - a mother weeping for her lost children. . . . . 

The Medjugorje Visionary, Ivan Dragičević stated that during his apparition with Our Lady on Tuesday evening, September 11, 2001, that he had never seen Our Lady look that sad in 20 years.  On September 14, 2001 this message was given:

"Dear children,
Peace, peace, peace.  My dear children, pray for peace, pray together with your mother for peace.  Thank you for having responded to my call."
